Extruder production lines place high demands on automation technology. The temperature of the extruder, mold, and cooling and sizing equipment must be controlled and stabilized. The start speed of the main drive of the extruder must be synchronized with the drive of auxiliary devices such as traction or cutting. Weighing and dosing systems ensure the continuous supply of raw materials.

Extruder production line instrumentation operation:

1. Inverter: Modern extruders are controlled by inverters. For the first time users, as long as they learn the basic functions, they are all qualified before being dispatched from the factory, so you do not need to move them before you are familiar with them.

2, the host ammeter: host current is used to observe the host when the current size, the table itself can not be adjusted, but can control the screw speed to adjust the host current, if you find the host current is too large, it should increase the screw speed , Or reduce the amount of feed. In order to ensure the normal service life of the unit, the host current must not be operated with the highest (full load) current during the first three months of the device's use. The maximum current is 80% of the host current. For example, the main motor is 45KW with a host current of 84.7A, and the current during the run-in period cannot exceed 68A.

3, head melt pressure gauge: This table is used to observe the melt pressure in the extrusion head, it can not be adjusted, but through the speed of the feeder to adjust, if you find the head melt pressure is too high, then reduce Slow feeder feed rate.

4. Gearbox oil pump pressure gauge: The normal display condition is 0.2-0.3. If the oil gauge can't be displayed normally or not, check the oil circuit. Check if the oil filter is to be cleaned or if the oil circuit is blocked.

5, screw speed adjustment table: When turned on, the screw speed is always slow after the first, using a slowly accelerating way.

Extruder production line is usually composed of host, auxiliary engine and control system.

(1) Host. The main equipment for plastic extrusion is the extruder, ie the main machine. It mainly includes extrusion and feeding systems, transmission systems, heating and cooling systems, and control systems.

1 Extrusion and feeding system. Mainly composed of hopper, screw and barrel, it is a key part of the extruder. Its role is to plasticize the plastic into a uniform melt, and in the process to generate pressure, and then screw continuous, constant pressure, fixed temperature, quantitative extrusion head.

2 transmission system. Mainly by the motor, adjusting device and transmission device. Its role is to drive the screw and supply the required torque and speed of the screw during operation.

3 heating and cooling system. It consists of temperature-controlled equipment. Its role is to heat and cool the barrel to ensure that the extrusion system is formed within the process requirements.

4 control system. Mainly consists of electrical appliances, meters and actuators. The function of the extruder production line equipment is to adjust the control screw speed, barrel temperature, head pressure and so on.

(2) Auxiliary equipment. In addition to the main machine, an auxiliary machine is required to achieve extrusion molding. The composition of the auxiliary engine is determined according to the type of the product, and generally includes a head (die), a styling device, a cooling device, a traction device, a cutting device, and a winding device.

1 head. It is the main part of the product molding. The molten plastic passes through the head and obtains a plastic product with a similar geometry to its flow path.

2 stereotypes device. Its function is to stabilize the plastic extruded from the nose in a predetermined shape and to finish it, thereby obtaining a product with an accurate cross-section dimension and a smooth surface. This is usually achieved through cooling and pressurization.

3 cooling device. The shaped article is further cooled to obtain the final shape and size.

4 traction device. The role is to evenly pull the product so that the extrusion process continues steadily. The speed of the traction speed can adjust the cross-sectional size of the product to some extent, and it also has a certain influence on the productivity of the extruder.

5 cutting device. Its role is to cut continuously extruded articles into lengths and widths as required.

6 take-up device. The continuously extruded soft product is wound into a roll.

(3) Control system. The control system consists of various appliances, meters and actuators. According to the degree of automation, the power, speed and running track required for the drive motor, drive oil pump, oil (gas) cylinder and other actuators of the extrusion host and auxiliary machine can be controlled, and the temperature of the control host and auxiliary machine can be detected. , pressure and flow, and ultimately achieve the automation control of the entire unit of the extruder production line and the control of product quality.
